Applicant acknowledges that it shall pay to Progress Energy all expenses incurred by Progress Energy during its review and safety evaluation of the proposed underground pipeline facilities. No work may commence in our right of way until a final agreement has been executed by both parties.

Application Check List

For a non-pipeline application, a check for $500.00 payable to Progress Energy.
For a pipeline application, submit two (2) checks payable to Progress Energy, one in the amount of $12,000 and one for the appropriate consultant's fee.

All applications must include;

  • Location Map
  • Project Drawing, including your landscape plan with the sprinkler layout and spray patterns, utilitiy plan, electrical plan, grading plan, lighting plan, and plan & profiles (4 sets of each). Send only the pages that depict the Encroachment Area within the right of way boundaries. The Right of Way boundaries and your improvements must be highlighted on each set of plans.

No work may commence in our right of way until a final agreement has been executed by both parties.
